Day 2-Paris

Bonjour Everyone!
Sorry for the long delay in getting pictures on here. We have been overwhelmed and a little under the weather. Here are a few pictures that we took on our first full day. We are loving Paris. This city is soo vast we aren't going to be able to see 1/4 of it. It's like we keep telling ourselves we need to see this and we need to see that..but things are so far apart. Yesterday it snowed some of the day and it was very frigid! Dave didn't have gloves or a scarf. Had to stop in one of the stores on the Champes-Elysee to buy a scarf. Enjoy the pictures!

Walking tour through the Marais-the area where we are staying!

The Arc de Triompf and the Champs Elyesee

The snow was just beautiful. After we just finished eating a lovely lunch at Cafe Moderne.

Day 3-Paris

Bonjour Everyone! How is everyone doing? We are doing really well. The day started out really beautiful with big white flakes of snow. We went to the Notre Dame and then walked through the Latin Quarter. Had some lunch at a brasserie and when we came out of the restaurant it was raining..yuck! We walked around the Latin Quarter looking for chocolatiers and went into three of them...yum! I was in heaven. After that we went home, because we were both wet and very cold. I cooked dinner with some produce that I bought at the market that morning. Bought some cheese..have no idea what kind because I couldn't read the label, but it was yummy. Well we hope everyone has a great New Years! We are planning on going over to the Louvre tomorrow and walk around that area and the Eiffel Tower. Hopefully the weather is better tomorrow for walking around. Happy New Year! See everyone in 2006!

Day 1-We arrive to a snowy Paris

Bonjour! We have arrived in Paris and it's snowing. The flight in was just beautiful with snow capped mountain tops. We arrived at the airport around 9am and had to take a bus into Paris. That was about an hour and a half ride. We got into the apartment around 1pm and it's just lovely. The best apartment yet. We actually have a computer with internet access...so no more going to internet points. We also have a phone, but haven't figured out how to use our calling card. Once we figure that out we will give you guys a call! We hope everyone is doing well. Pictures from our last days in Rome will be posted tonight. The last couple days of Rome were very rainy and we didn't get to see everything we wanted. It was a short visit, but I'm glad we are in Paris! This town is just beautiful!

Au revoir for now!
Love J & D
